How can this movie be 3 hours long? That's insane... it should be 2.5 tops.Anyone seen it? Not sure if I want to sit through 3 hours, or wait til it comes on DVD, and invite myself over to Nobs'...

I saw some clips for it. While King Kong looks great, I saw this sequence of the boat in a storm and it looked really cheesy. I think I'll wait to rent this one.

There's a dinosaur fight in the original, as well.The idea is that Kong is located on a remote island where time has sort of stood still, and is untouched by the modern world.
